WHAT IS SANDSPACE?

We developed an app that allows people to see the occupation of a specific beach. Based on the principles of Citizen Science, it allows users to be active in the creation of content, and these users are the ones that establish the level of occupation. A chart is available with the frequency of responses regarding the occupancy level. You can also have access to the temperature and wind speed on the selected beach.

WHAT IS INVASORAS CV?

Invasive species are currently considered to be one of the main threats to biodiversity worldwide, being involved in the extinction of several species and also causing many economic and even public health problems. The effective management of many of the invasive plant species depends on the application of appropriate methods that should be applied at specific stages of a plant’s life cycle. However, in the current climate change scenario, the life cycle of plants is changing and there is no up-to-date data that allows the application of those methods. This lack of data is the problem we want to address.
